Resumen
CONTRIBUCIÓN AL CONOCIMIENTO DE LOS LEPIDÓPTEROS DE LA RESERVA PROVINCIAL IBERÁ, CORRIENTES, ARGENTINA.- Se investigó y comparó por primera vez la composición, riqueza y diversidad de los lepidópteros en tres comunidades de la Reserva Provincial Iberá (R. P. I.). El área de estudio comprendió Estancia Rincón, Colonia Pellegrini y Paraje Galarza (Departamentos Mercedes, San Martín y Santo Tomé respectivamente). Los ejemplares se capturaron con redes entomológicas de vuelo y de barrido, trampas de luz UV y se efectuaron registros mediante observación directa. Se colectaron 1237 individuos y se inventariaron 49 especies, ocho morfoespecies y 40 géneros. Las familias con mayor número de géneros fueron: Nymphalidae (N=17), Hesperiidae (N= 8) y Pieridae (N= 4). Los géneros más diversos fueron Urbanus y Eurema, con cuatro especies. En Estancia Rincón tres especies y una morfoespecie resultaron dominantes. En Colonia Pellegrini fueron abundantes Riodina lysippoides, Anthanassa frisia hermas, Heliconius erato phyllis y Phoebis sennae marcellina. En Galarza el componente mayoritario fue dado por Urbanus teleus, Junonia genoveva hilaris, Anartia jatrophae jatrophae y Danaus erippus. Las tres estaciones de muestreo presentaron ocho especies en común. La abundancia y riqueza de especies fueron superiores en Paraje Galarza y la diversidad en Colonia Pellegrini. La equitatividad fue alta en los tres sitios de muestreo, en concordancia, el índice de dominancia fue bajo. La presente contribución representa el primer inventario sobre la diversidad de los Lepidoptera de la Reserva Provincial Iberá, Corrientes, Argentina.
Abstract
CONTRIBUTION TO THE LEPIDOPTERA KNOWLODGMENT FROM IBERÁ PROVINCE RESERVE, CORRIENTES, ARGENTINA.- Composition, richness and diversity of three communities were studied and compared for the first time at the Iberá Province Reserve (R. P. I.). The investigation was carried out in forest and grassland in Estancia Rincón, Colonia Pellegrini and Galarza localities (Departments Mercedes, San Martín and Santo Tomé respectively). Sweep nets, ultraviolet light traps and direct observation were the collecting methods employed. A total of 1237 specimens representing 40 genera, 49 species and eight morphospecies were collected. Nymphalidae (N=17), Hesperiidae (N= 8) and Pieridae (N= 4) were the families with the biggest number of genera. Urbanus and Eurema, with four species, were the most diverse genera. In Estancia Rincón, three species and one morphospecies were dominant. Riodina lysippoides, Anthanassa frisia hermas, Heliconius erato phyllis and Phoebis sennae marcellina were prevalent in Colonia Pellegrini. Urbanus teleus, Junonia genoveva hilaris, Anartia jatrophae jatrophae and Danaus erippus were most abundant in Galarza. Eight species were collected through at the three localities. The abundance and richness were higher in Galarza, and Colonia Pellegrini was the most diverse locality, the evenness was high and the dominance index was low. This contribution represents the first inventory concerning Lepidoptera diversity of the Reserve Provincial Iberá, Corrientes, Argentina.
