NEW INSIGHTS TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF VEGETATIN COMMUNITIES IN THE YPOÁ BASIN, ORIENTAL REGION OF PARAGUAY. -This contribution describes the vegetation of the Lago Ypoá basin on the basis of satellite and aerial photos and in situ collection. The terrestrial communities display particular characteristics, recording a soil-related transition between the Oriental and Occidental Chaco Region.
