Abstract
REPRODUCTIVE ASPECTS OF THE ANPHIBIA IN CORRIENTES AND CHACO, ARGENTINA. The reproductive features of several amphibians distributed in an area of Argentinean littoral region are presented.
Data about clutches of five species of Physalaemus are given. Information concerning reproductive behavior and tadpoles morphological and ecological characteristics of species of Leptodactylus, Phyllomedusa and Chthonerpeton are also described.
In general, the reproductive features of amphibians have been poorly studied, but paradoxically are one of the most important aspect to diagnose the health of the environment and to plan conservation strategies.
